Greetings Pack!
December is here once again. We have our first snowfall already and the cold seems to want to stay. Looking at the calendar it’s hard to believe we have these last days of 2007 and need to prepare for 2008 already.
The theme for December is Celebrations Around The World. In our Pack alone, we celebrate during this time of year for many different reasons and in many different ways. At Pack meeting on MONDAY, December 17th we will “celebrate” these differences.
In our home we celebrate Christmas. The month is full of many wonderful and magical things for our family. We are busy decorating the house, planning how our time will be spent with family and friends, working on our Christmas cards, shopping for loved ones, preparing for cookie baking, and celebrating the birthdays of family members and Jesus.
As a family, a Den, and even a Pack, let’s share our customs and traditions with each other so we can learn how similar and how different each of us celebrates.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!
Yours in Scouting,
JK
